  2. Welcome to America is the sixth album by rapper Schoolly D. The album was released in and was his first and only album for Ruffhouse Records. Though the album gained some positive reviews, the album did not sell well or make it on any album charts. Two singles were released for the album, “Welcome to America” and “Another Sign”.

  4. The second to last from Schoolly D’s magnum opus Welcome to America. This song touches a dark, mental side to Schoolly D’s opinion on the word “peace”.
  5. Stop Frontin Lyrics: Yeah, lemme tell ya little tale bout my neighbor / Young motherfucker, he wanna pull a caper / Call his homies on the telephone .
  6. referencing Welcome To America, LP, Album, C With Schoolly D having a strong relationship with The Butcher Nicolo (The Head Honcho of Ruffhouse) he ended up releasing this without Ruffhouse/Columbia execs. caring how much times Schoolly D cursed.
  7. Welcome to the end of classic Schoolly D and into his experimentation. This album covers his flirtation with guitars (Huh? Remember "No More Rock and Roll"?) with Urge Overkill. It got worse with later albums and his funk odyssey. Some good tracks do ressurrect the old unmesmadamelonglidgrovatrisusou.coinfo feel "Dusted" and "They Wanna Kill Me" are two such tunes/5(6).
  8. Feb 01,  · Overall I find this a satisfying listen, well if you are in the mood for some raw street, hard ghetto shi*. Schoolly D delivers his stories in a 'matter of fact, no nonsense thats just tha life' fashion. There are some pretty sick tracks on this album. Production is a big standout for me - straight 5 stars here/5(5).
